More Than Just a Blade
As a company, we are the legacy of the original Hutton’s Edge Inc. established in 1999 by the creator/inventor D. P. Hutton. A former police officer and Marine, life-long martial arts practitioner D. P. Hutton dreamed of making a more effective defensive knife since he was 16. In the late nineties he created the Hutton’s Edge blade design and it’s defensive tactical system in order to give law enforcement and military the advantage in close quarters combat. Whether it's self-defense, hiking, diving, or paragliding, we believe this unique design still offers an unparalleled edge.
Built to Last
Each Hutton’s Edge is crafted right here in the U.S.A. from high quality steel. We currently have two versions of the full size fixed blade available: the S35VN stainless steel with a black G10 handle, featuring on the “thumper” a variable-diameter glass breaker, and our new AEB-L steel blade with a G10 handle. Both knives are traditionally carried inverted on the belt in a kydex sheath, included with your purchase. These knives are meant to last a lifetime and we are committed to making sure the people who carry them can trust them for whatever use they choose to utilize them for.
